Certified Landscape Designer
Angie Verge, owner, Certified Landscape Designer and MA Certified Horticulturalist, is a passionate gardener and advocate of organic land care practices. Her strong spatial planning skills result in smart, practical and functional outdoor rooms that flow together seamlessly. Her knowledge of native plant species influences her planting choices, creating ecological and low-maintenance landscapes.
A part-time garden center job in high school started Angie's love of horticulture. She received her Certification in Landscape Design through the Landscape Institute, holding dual certificates from both the Arnold Arboretum of Harvard University and Boston Architectural College. She received her BA in Natural Science and Mathematics from Bradford College with a concentration in Biology. After graduation, she was accepted into the Horticultural Internship Program at the Arnold Arboretum at Harvard University.
Before starting her landscape design studio, Angie spent 12 years working in the corporate retail industry as a merchandise buyer. Her discerning eye for presentation translates into landscape designs that have solid composition, attractive focal points and dynamic beauty.
Management and project coordination proved to be one of her greatest strengths. These skills have helped to develop the pillars of her design business: providing clients with solid timelines, professional correspondence, impeccable organization and thorough construction management.
In addition to her residential design business, Angie also partners with a Boston-area landscape architectural firm, providing landscape design, planting design and construction administration services for high-end residential clients.
